The Palin Pregnancy Rumor Put To Rest

  So there are rumors, and then there are those doozy type rumors that have some tiny shred of truth but end up blowing up and lord knows what comes out.

  Such is the case with the "pregnancy" rumor circulating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who's now the GOP nominee for vice president.

  The Rumor: Palin was never pregnant. She only pretended to be because her daughter, Bristol, was pregnant. The plan was for Palin to prentend to be pregnant and claim her daughter's child as her own. The rumor gained ground because Palin apparently never "looked" pregnant, and there were rumors floating around that Bristol was really pregnant.

  The Facts: Palin was pregnant. Her fifth child - Trig  - was born recently. He has Down Syndrome. Bristol is pregnant, and according to the Palin family, about five months or so. The family issued a statement about Bristol's pregnancy to dispell the rumors.
